Course Overview
This course provides an introduction to the Active Workspace Client application. The goal of the course is to provide an introductory exploration of the Active Workspace Client, capabilities, and core actions required to work effectively in the client. Attendees learn how to login, navigate, position windows, organize using folders and favorites, create and edit data, understand the relations behind data, example and work with structural and visualization data, and interact with workflows to sign off on tasks. Duration: ~ 1.5 hours of video demonstrations Version Recorded at: This course is recorded at version Teamcenter 2406. For versions earlier than 2406, 2312 versions will be very similar to 2406, however anything prior to 2312 will have significant interface differences. It is recommended that students have a rudimentary understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) prior to taking the course. The course is designed for all that will be working in the Active Workspace Client to perform day to day tasks, individuals looking to learn using as a prerequisite for Administration, Development, or Installation type topics, or as a way to understand the components and OOTB capabilities of the Teamcenter software.
