- Migrate Teamcenter Administration Data Essentials [ TC2406* ]
This course is designed to provide the tools for migrating Teamcenter Administration Data between 2 Teamcenter sites. Learn how to export, import, and manage key administration data types using the Administration Data Tools utilities and UI's. Explore the support processes for migrating administration data such as Workflow Templates, Stylesheets, Preferences, Queries, Reports, Revision Rules, Access Manager Rules and ACLs, Organizational components and more. In addition to the supported utilities and interfaces, instructors will demonstrate available alternatives to the supported approach. VERSION SUPPORT Teamcenter, Active Workspace versions 2406 all patches. The tools and utilities, though more mature in 2406, are available starting in Teamcenter 11. The utilities and UI available are similar in all versions 11+. RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITES - All Using Essentials courses from the Course Library, or equivalent experience. - It is recommended that students have a rudimentary understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) prior to taking the course. - It is recommended to have an understanding and/or experience deploying enterprise applications, server deployments, and Windows administrative experience prior to attending the course as some general administrative concepts may not be addressed. QUIZ/TEST There is a quiz at the end of the course with a requirement of 70% or higher in order to receive a certificate and mark the course as completed. REPEATED ATTEMPTS Allowed and Recommended at no additional cost with an active Membership including the course in question. RECOMMENDED AUDIENCE The course is designed for System Administrators who are responsible for the installation, deployment, and maintenance of a Teamcenter and Active Workspace environment. DURATION ~ 4 hours of video demonstrations. It is recommended to provide three times the video time for exploring the provided documentation references and performing steps.

This program contains longer, deeper dive content which challenges the User | Admin | Configurator | Developer to extend their knowledge into the depths of what Active Workspace offers. Content in this course covers topics including Active Workspace user interface components, navigation, interacting with tables, searching with all search mechanisms, creating and modifying data, exploring relationships, working with files both natively and through the office integration, workflows and more!
