- Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) Essentials [ TC13 | AWC 5 ]
This course is designed to provide a tutorial for interacting with and working in the Teamcenter Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) software. The BMIDE is an application dedicated to manipulating the schema of Teamcenter's data. Administrators may use the tool to create custom object types, properties, rules, and much more. In the course, attendees are guided through opening and getting started in the Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) administrative application and are then ushered into performing iterative tasks to construct a working data model. Topics in the course include an introduction to the BMIDE software, creating and deploying custom business object types with custom properties, creating relationship rules, propagation rules, display rules, naming rules, Business Modeler IDE reports, Lists of Values, and many other fun tips and techniques in the tool. The instructor will create scenarios and troubleshoot them in the demonstration and perform maintenance activities such as updating an environment deployments from the BMIDE and testing the result of the deployment, troubleshooting deployments, deploying via the TEM, and more. This course is recorded at version Teamcenter 13.*, though most concepts and techniques are applicable to all versions of Teamcenter after Teamcenter 12.* through the latest available. Duration: ~ 14 hours and 20 minutes of video demonstrations. Reference material may add a significant amount of time to this duration. Recommended Prerequisite Course(s) It is recommended that students have Windows administration experience prior to attending. It is highly recommended to have taken all Using Essentials prerequisites prior to attending. The course is designed for Administrators with the intent on learning how to create, manage, and deploy data model changes to Teamcenter using the Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) administrative tool.
